Fuelled up for the day at Sunnyside Cafe in Esquimalt! Two perfectly cooked eggs, sunnyside up, delicious sausage, perfectly spiced potatoes, and the BEST coffee to get me going. If you're looking for a classic breakfast spot, this is it!

Highly recommend this place. We were there for breakfast. We got the huevos rancheros with spicy chorizo patties and Mediterranean eggs Benny. The chorizo patties were extra $ but definitely worth it. Their hollandaise sauce was a little different than the traditional hollandaise, but absolutely delicious if you’re eating with an open mind. Coffee was also spot on! Other awesome perks, outdoor seating is available that is dog friendly and had a water bowl for the dogs.

What a wonderful treat to your pallet! That’s all what I can say after I had my delicious brunch. I had the chicken benny and it was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone. The staff were very friendly too.

We were met by the friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. We ordered our food and found a seat. We received our food in a reasonable time,and it was nice and hot ,right of the grill. It was delicious. Now, if you do choose to sit outside, be prepared, as it is a bit noisy! But not intolerable. This little find is a gem otherwise! Cheers to the staff and cook!

Big portion of food. I loved that they ask how well done I want my Eggs Benedict; and it was cooked just right. I wish the sauce on the eggs were lighter - it was very heavy coupled with the avocado. My boyfriend enjoyed the BLT sandwich but found the side soup to be interesting.
